I sent Steph & John the email link for their wedding photos within a week of their big day so that they had the option to view the shots whilst on honeymoon. Here's their feedback:

I emailed Ian & Ali the link to see the pictures from the big day within a few days of their wedding. They were away on honeymoon at the time, and here's some of the email reply they sent me:

'We have just been sat in the hotel lobby (free wifi!) going through them on the iPad, Ali has gone through a packet of tissues!'

'They are fantastic, we are over the moon with them. Thank you so much. Think I might need bigger walls as I counted about 30 that are "definitely going on the wall". We'll speak when we get back'.

After I hand delivered the USB drive with the photos, Ian emailed me:

'Just to add to what my wife :-) put in the blog comment, the whole day was perfect and your photos captured the day exactly as we remember it, for me that is priceless. Incredible good fortune for us,... meant that we ended up with exactly the photos we wanted'.

'Getting the photography right on our 'big day' was a top priority for Phil and I; its the one thing which captures all the special moments in the day.

Karen was at our disposal from the morning (hair and makeup....) right into the evening. Myself, Phil and all our guests found Karen to be very friendly, down to earth with a very professional manor and assertive (without having to shout and frighten people).

Karen also took the time to meet with Phil and I prior to the big day, to go through some poses and to discuss how things would run on the day. From what I can gather, not all Wedding photographers do this, but it really does help and makes it easier on the day!

We strongly recommend Karen and the photographs were perfect!'

Karen Julia did a marvellous job for us, from the first contact when she came all the way down to Somerset to check out the venue, to the final to and fro as we ironed out the fine details of the wedding album. On the day itself, she just got on with it, sorting out recalcitrant guests and making sure other photographers didn't drive through her shot. She keep her calm whilst all about her were panicking, and made sure she had the shots we wanted. When we saw the photographs, we were absolutely delighted with them all; from the finer details whilst we were getting ready, to the group photographs. We were particularly pleased that she captured all the nuances of the ceremony and the venue, and all those little incidents that we would be hard pressed to remember otherwise. We are extremely pleased to have found Karen Julia to record our day and couldn't be happier with the results.

'When we arrived at our wedding venue to find a row of portacabins in front of the waterfalls, we wondered how the photo's would turn out. Thankfully, Karen had done her homework beforehand and somehow, magically, managed to position the groups in such a way that the portacabins can't be seen at all in our photo's! Her approach is very professional, and where other wedding photographers would give you a couple of dozen prints with no option to select the ones you like, Karen sent us all 400! 'Best day of our lives…. Looking back at the pressure Karen was under to take our wedding photographs I really wouldn't want to have been in her shoes!! A two day wedding set at very different locations and varying lighting conditions really tested Karen's skills. We are absolutely overjoyed with the final results.
